Uyare is a fantastic effort from the cast and crew. They have taken up subject which has lot of present day relevance. Movie is centered around Pallavi Ravindran played by Parvathy Thiruvoth and has done a good job as usual. Anarkali Marikar as Saria D costa has been phenomenal. After watching the movie everyone will wish to have friend like Saria. Siddique has been a treat to watch as ever. He continue to enlighten our lives with various roles he portrays. His acting as helpless father is as good as the character he played in Drishyam. Tovino Thomas has once again shown that he is second to none among the young heroes we have in malayalam movie industry. His dressing in the moving is exceptional. Impact Samyuta Menon as Tessa makes in just one scene is outstanding. Last but not the least one can't leave the movie hall without hating Govind played by Asif Ali, which will be compliment for him as an actor. Songs of the movie have already been topped all the charts. Overall it is not a mass movie but a good movie. Unless someone is a hardcore fan of mass movie, everyone will be happy that they have watched Uyare.

When Jeethu Joseph announced Drishyam 2, thought it would be a half-hearted effort from the crew or rather a timepass for them in these COVID times. Moreover, when Jeethu Joseph commented in an interview Drishyam 2 is not going to like Drishyam, was expecting a tear-jerker or mental trauma of Georgekutty and family after involving in crime. But what an excellent movie that Drishyam turn out to be. Subtle expressions of Mohanlal show why Malayalam Cinema has celebrated him for over 40 years. Asha Sharath was brilliant in Drishyam and has come up with a stellar performance in Drishyam 2 as well. How much I wished Siddique doesn't take out his villianism in Drishyam 2. He is as composed and portrayed his helplessness in Drishyam 2 also. The brilliance of Asha Sharath in the first part has been passed onto Murali Gopi in part 2. But the shot of the movie is Adv Shanti turning and looking at Georgekutty with an opened mouth in the court scene. Nothing matches that shot. Only regret about the movie is the inability to watch in the theatre environment.
