For a movie called "The Man From Toronto" it sure does lack a lot of Toronto.
1 hour and 50 something minutes, only 1 minute, of which, is actually in Canada. This movie is culture bait and has no reason to include Toronto in it's title. The film is bland and the story is god awful, they spent nearly the entire thing building up to this interaction where "the world would end" (by that, they just meant the destruction of a new Venezuelan embassy... what did Venezuela have to do with the plot? I don't know. Horribly explained.) that lasted 2 minutes entirely. They threw in side characters that weren't needed, they went places and did things that could've easily just been done in the city mentioned in the title, and none of the story was explained well by the characters in it. Watch "Bon Cop, Bad Cop" if you're looking for an actual Canadian action movie instead.
