Oh wow!!! It's on Netflix. No excuses not to see this gem.

Too much and yet still not enough. The movie borrowed something from everything: a polar bear (The Golden Compass), window rescue (The Chamber of Secrets), a dragon (The Hobbit), bedroom obstacle course (The Floor is Lava), shipwreck (Frozen), cat playing with laser (viral cat videos), etc. Every minute was a reference to something else, a greatest hits of family-friendly, kid-movie tropes, leaving no room for anything of it's own. The movie isn't a disaster, just a disappointment.

Gorgeous. I watched this on HBOMax, but I need to see it in the theater. So much better than I expected.
