For those who are going to watch this movie for the first time and to those who have watched but are still confused of the ending, watch the prologue because it is the main explanation of the epilogue itself. Also, I think the main problem on the female side was his money. She never wanted to take advantage of him (-as she said at one point, "I don't need charity.") to the point of treating him like he is an outsider when her family encountered financial problem. This is a slap to the guy's face as he has considered her family but for her, it was like he wasn't. Also, she feels like he was only pitying her that was why he was with her. (That's what I really want to know too, if why does she think that way?" For those who are still very confused on what Cheng Zeng has written on the book at the temple, all those years he visited the temple, he only wished for "ONE" every time. He always write "Su Yunjin" her name, meaning his only wish is to be with her, to be loved by her but wasn't reciprocated for all those years. Maybe it is really true, "you only realize the importance of someone once they're gone." As she realized who is Cheng Zeng in her heart, she flew to the U.S. to look for him. As the title of the movie itself "Never Gone", he still loves her no matter what. What I also can't understand up till now is why can't she fully give her heart to him for those past 6 years they were together? What was holding her back? May someone can explain too cause I'm confused. All in all, good movie to watch.

Kudos to the script writer and director. Two thumbs up! This was new, having a female CEO in a drama. Also, both actors brought their characters to life. I salute Park Bo Gum for his performance. He expresses himself well in his character. So cute at a lot of times when he expresses how in love he is and made me cry harder that he cried when he broke down at one point. His character here is a pure, wilful, and a very passionate man who put his love above himself. I commend Song Hye-kyo for acting like a true CEO. She's very good at masking her expression even when in pain or anger but cries/breaks down when she is all alone and nobody watches. For others who doesn't understand the culture in Korea, search through google so you will understand why families of Jung Woo Suk and Cha Soo Hyun are like that. Korea is not the only country who follows the norm and condemn an older woman dating a younger man. Also, marriage alliances are common in the circle of the rich that the daughters and sons has no say in it once their parents agreed on said marriage. Also, you will be shocked at how gossip is the number one parasite in society that even the innocent can be ruined without fighting back. In this drama, you will find how a woman whose whole life has been planned for her without the right to protest for the sake of her parents' ambition (being isolated from others and no right to live for herself) find warmth and love from an ordinary guy who shows her and make her understand and discover her trueself once more. Here you see an ordinary guy who has the warmth of a family and friends, simple life yet a happy one - the exact opposite of the CEO's life (but have few friends who stick up to her though.) You see a young man who isn't bothered about things around him yet get troubled and concerned easily when the woman she likes is the center of all the troubles. Below is imprinted in me when I watched this drama: "The fact that we came from different families can't be the reason to break up. Everyone's different. Love is about two different people starting to resemble each other." I recommend you to watch this for you to experience and feel their love, their pain and also for you to sympathize with both leads' predicament with everyone's demur for their relationship. (which by the way made me gnash my teeth in anger while watching those scenes.lol). This drama teaches us that once you love someone, though hurt you may be, you never give up that easily. The more hurt you are, the more you become strong. One in love keeps his promise in his heart no matter what. Go, watch it. You'll not regret it.
