Where to start.... I should first mention that I usually read 'edge- of- your -seat' thrillers, but I thought I'd give this a go since the reviews were so good.
The writing style is rather basic, and there were times I felt this book was aimed at teenager girls. The main character describing her neighbour as "the good doctors had a really nice bum" made me realise that perhaps this book wasn't going to stimulate intellectually.
It was OK. .. but having read for about the 10th time that the good doctor was not a dog person, I actually wished he would tell Willow and the dog to 'do one'.
I really hope people like Willow don't actually exist, she's as soppy as a wet tea-bag.
