A friend lent us the 2 DVD set for this series and it is absolutely awesome! Having been filmed back in the mid 70's in the area we now live and work in (Emerald and surrounds) its a blast seeing so many of the buildings, streets and landmarks, picking out how they have both changed and remained the same over the years.
A huge range of actors from the time also appeared in this series. Have to say the storylines that were contemporary for the time made us chuckle, as it seems not much has changed in 50 years! 10 out of 10 for Paul Cronin (and others) stunt and off road motorcycle skills too. Quality show. Now nostalgic, without being cringeworthy.
One thing that has me stumped though. Who sings the theme song for the series? Mike Brady wrote it, Peter Sullivan does the music, but the vocalist (and it really sounds like Glenn Shorrock to me) is not credited anywhere...
