The movie was interesting in that the US Government insisted that Oppenheiner create the bomb to stop the aggression of Japan against the world and then those politicians turned around to make Oppenheimer the villain and scapegoat. Sorta reminds me of the political idiots that are running (sic) our Government today. Many American lives were saved as a result of Oppenheiner's contribution to ending the war.

I surmise that present political individuals believe that history (slavery, women's right, political ethics, etc) is not worth saving in books. That fact that those eliminating history of the written word would think that history isn't worth knowing, demonstrates the idiotic mindset of the culture we're seeing in 2023. If history tells us anything, it's not to repeat events that harm us.
