Most of the established reviewers give this film 3 stars. I think this is unfair. Sometimes, we eat a Macdonalds meal and secretly think it was the best meal we had that year, better than the meal we had in the posh restaurant. This film is worth 5 stars. Like a Macdonalds, it has all the ingredients to titillate all the right parts. If we are a bit intellectual, we think we shouldn't like it, but we do. This film grips you from the start. You want to know what happens next. It does not matter that the plot is unknowable. You believe in the characters. There is tension, drama and warmth. There is cartoon sex, violence and action. There is plenty of room for laughter. The film is carried by Liam Neeson. His voice and acting ability is brilliant. A stunning performance. I'm not sure anyone else could have carried this off !
