Not to be dramatic, but this movie was life-changing!! It's a campy, 70s trip with fantastic music, creative storytelling, and such dramatic flare it's a wonder it's not more well-known.
I watched this with my friend during the start of the pandemic and we both still talk about it from time-to-time. I love Paul Williams' style and it really shines through in this film (for obvious reasons).
I think one of the things that elevates this film from a fun romp to a cult hit is the element of tragedy that shows through even with the fantastical story.
