I am fascinated by this show. The characters are all wonderful. As a white woman, I am wondering how realistic the show is. So, in reading the reviews, I am getting a mixed message! For inner city, it seems more livable than my perception has been from my white suburban experience of seeing tv or reading news stories. It seems like a neighborhood with people who care about each other, that is much better than suburban neighborhoods in my experience! I love Ronnie and the kids especially. I look forward to each & every episode.
