The fact that you can have a game that goes beyond Doom 2016 is bonkers! If Doom 2016 is a damn near masterpiece, this is a full on masterpiece! This is a huge improvement over Doom 2016 in every single way! The gameplay itself is much more harder, as it requires more resource management this time around. However, due to this, the game feels much more rewarding, which is what Doom 2016 needed to be.The gunplay felt so much more brutal and smoother than it's predecessor. Platforming was very interesting and fun, though at times I felt there was a bit too much of it from time to time. However, once you mastered the way iD Software wants you to play the game, it all works hand-in-hand together so well and you feel great about it. The story was very intriguing and the lore was incredibly well established, even if the ending felt a bit rushed. This game answered almost all the questions we had for the story behind Doom and in an extremely satisfying way. The graphics were so gorgeous and a huge upgrade with the iD tech 7 engine. The music! Oh god, the music! Mick Gordon kills it yet again this time! His music felt even more perfect and really hits you in places you didn't think his music would hit! It hits you in a way that keeps you pushing and makes you want to literally rip and tear every demon to pieces! We can't lose you, Mick! The game feels even more fleshed out with different variations and details like the collectibles here. The collectibles, this time, feel much more rewarding to get, as they are not the same Doom guy looking toy you collect all the time anymore. All in all, this game makes you feel good! The level designing is superb and each level has their distinct specialty. The game's length adjusted with the gameplay very well and never for once did it feel repetitive or boring. I'm calling it right now! This is the best Doom game ever and I loved it! This is hands down a 5 out of 5 from me. iD Software did an incredible job with this game and I can't wait to see the future for this franchise.
