I really liked the first episode. But in the second episode they go overboard on the whole thing about Perry Mason’s assistant, Della, being gay. They have nude scenes of her and her lover in bed and scenes with the two of them going to a gay speakeasy. C’mon, it’s 1930, I don’t think there were any gay nightclubs. I didn’t mind that they made Dells gay, although the original wasn’t, but they spend half of the second episode on it. I’m ok if actors are gay in a series but how about giving the amount of exposure equivalent to the percentage of gays in the population. Enough already!
