This film wasn’t a horror movie no… but it was as disturbing as you can get in my opinion. If you’re not a fan of horror movies and you’re squeamish with disturbing content I suggest you stay home and watch something more light hearted. I watched half the trailer to get an idea of it and assumed it would be just another alien movie but it was so much more unforgiving. I left the movie half way through balling my eyes out having a full blown panic attack. So if you’re sensitive or have any ptsd/mental health issues that are more or less easily triggered I’m telling you now that I wish I read this review and had someone tell me it’s not worth it. There’s not enough indication of how disturbing this movie actually is and it definitely should not be rated M in Australia. In saying that I’m sure for people who are more desensitise to that kind of content it was amazing so I have no judgment on the actual movie, it’s the “rated M” and not enough indication of disturbing content that is why I’m giving a bad review to hopefully help someone learn from my mistakes….
