First of all I wanna say that I'm a huge fan of Miraculous and had high expectations from this movie, but it kind of disappointed me.
Ok so first of all, I'm gonna talk about the good thing about the movie:
The graphics and animation was amazing and
spot on👌The animation was very detailed.
Now bout the bad stuff, first of all,if someone who hasn't watched the series watches the movie, they'll be super confused because everything is jumbled up.At first it was ok,but then it looks like all the scenes are just squeezed up in the last 45 minutes. It honestly looked like some scenes were missing.
The writing was OK,but it could be wayyy better.
The next thing is about songs.2 are ok,maybe 3 or 4,but NINE?? I know its supposed to be a musical ,but seriously, some songs were really not necessary. And then they didn't add The wall between us. Are you kidding me? We've been waiting for this movie for 3 years amd then they didn't add the best song. They replaced it with the library scene, which is good, but couldn't you replace any other scene?? That song was a must!
Next, why didn't Cristina sing?? At least you could find someone who sounded like Cristina if it wasn't necessary for Cristina to sing. The English singer for Cat Noir was OK ,but the voices of Cristina and Lou are so different! It didn't work at all.
There were also soooo many mistakes.
Ladybug's earrings literally flew from Master Fu into Marinette's bag but then they just appeared under the pot thing in that house Marinette ran into?? What?? Do miraculous teleport now??
Then we have the akuminized villains stealing from the bank, and then they're just randomly going after their miraculous??
The so called "plot twist" at the end was not at all surprising because we already knew that.
I honestly think Jeremy ZAG could have done better than this.
The people who are extreme fans of miraculous are all loving the movie and giving it five stars just because it's from miraculous. They don't care about the bad writing or anything. I have to be honest and say that the movie was disappointing...
