The thing I loved most about the film is that as someone who was born in the 80s, Elvis was mostly a joke. The white jumpsuit, he died on the toilet etc. I feel like I've seen Elvis the human and beloved entertainer with all his complexity and I'm really grateful. Austin Butler is incredible and even if the film doesn't always stay exactly true to life, I feel like it caught his spirit and he will never be a joke to me ever again.

You will like this film if you like a build up of tension and an excellent character narrative. The child actors are brilliant, as are the adults and once you realise what's happening you are really rooting for the protagonist. There are jump scares but the film does not rely on them which is a refreshing change. There is definitely blood but I wouldn't say gore and it's violent but the people casing the violence are not glamorised. I really enjoyed it and the ending is very satisfying.
