If I could give this movie zero stars I would. I do not think it is appropriate for a 9-year old to be seeing two male characters kiss. A previous comment read “Kids imitate what they see and putting such ideas into a main plot…” this person was speaking of the suicide portion of this movie, but went onto call anyone who was worried about the gay part of this movie a Karen. Yes, you’re right kids do imitate what they see, that’s why a family that does not believe in same sex relationships would not like this movie. This is against so many religions, mine included.
Yes, we are taught to accept everyone. I do, I had a gay uncle and gay friends. I do not judge them for their lives, I do not agree with them based on my religion.
That being said LEAVE KIDS ALONE!!! Let their parents show them what they believe is right and wrong based off their religion or lack there of. When a child is an adult it is completely different. To say that a child should be exposed to gay/transgender ideas at a young age is ridiculous, especially anyone who follows the Bible. Come on, stop acting like this is ok. If you want to expose your children to this ideology, great good for you! I along with anyone else who does not believe in same-sex/transgender would agree it is fine for adults to see, but not for kids because they are very impressionable.
This movie belongs in the LBGQ section especially if they are making it a PG movie!
