With the years first episode the announcers said we are starting a new decade. 2020 is the last year of the decade. The next decade starts with the year 2021. The first decade went from 1 to 10. The second decade started with year 11 and went to year 20. Carry that forward and 2021 starts the next decade. If they are getting something this simple wrong, can we trust their comments on other issues?
