The View and Ukraine: you don't understand that "closing the skies" is not possible. NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) has almost 30 members, the US is one of them. If NATO or any of its members declares a no fly zone over Ukraine, it is in fact declaring war on Russia. That would start WWIII and the US would be as vulnerable as Europe, because of article 5 of NATO. It could unleash nuclear weapons to be used by both sides and obliterate the world. As horrible as things are in Ukraine, involving NATO, would be much, much worse. NOT AN OPTION
