It sticks relatively close to the source material while also deviating quite a bit, and feels like an updated version of the story. The show is visually interesting and though I love Tom Sturridge’s portrayal as Morpheus, selfishly I would have liked to have seen some more scenes with the glowing eyes (especially at the end of 24/7). I fluctuate between a 4/5 and a 5/5 on any given day. I can’t wait to see more! Note: my wife sometimes finds it difficult to understand certain parts in the story, to which I find that my explanations reach into the comics lore more than what the show presents… sometimes the show like to give exposition to tell you what is going on, but other times it backs off and let’s you draw your own conclusions, which I appreciate but not everyone will 😂

Confusing, but so beautifully made. The cinematography, the sets, the locations, the music… is absolutely epic! I seriously hope the movie does well enough that we can see Part 2. The most disappointing thing for me was that the movie ended!
