Thoroughly enjoyed watching this film and found its pace and narrative style so unlike what I usually encounter on Indian television. So I started wondering why I've never heard of it. When the credits revealed Dibakar Banerjee's name it became obvious. A lot of good films about the small-town Indian experience has recently come out of Bollywood but this was such a unique treat. The kids dancing after the wedding party is over, uncle's glasses, his fear translating as anger on the wife, and the journey of lead characters - observant, bold and truly new-age.
