The author must learn to use footnotes for his claims. After all, you want the reader to take you as a credible writer. Without showing his work as to how he arrived at all of his opinions, this work will remain a very long-winded opinion piece. The same would be true of a book arguing the exact opposite. This is something a long tenured university professor would know to do. The book smacks of a man looking to profit off of our current societal division rather than making any (even half-hearted) attempt to educate. It is an echo chamber for those who were already of the same opinion as the author.
