Great suspenseful book that keeps you reading with excitement but the ending was abrupt and left the story without any real resolution, which was greatly disappointing. You invest so much of your time and energy into the book and you don’t even get the satisfaction of knowing what actually happens in the end. I wouldn’t even call it a cliff-hanger or promise of a sequel. It’s just as if the author’s pen ran out of ink and that’s where she decided to end. I love this author and all of her books that I’ve read but this one just seemed like an unfair place to end. I kept looking back wondering if my version of the book was published without the last 5 pages. So frustrating.
