i am a citizen of this united states and a democrat voter. i have watched this trial going on for days, and i have listened to cnn rebuttals. i, am personally disgusted with the bias news reporting of cnn. my opinion of this trial and my disgust of this trial are outlined below: i would not normally post my opinions on social media, but felt the need to do so. - do i believe sen. schiff and the house? NO, NOT FOR MOST OF THEIR REASONS AND TRUTHFULNESS. 1) AFTER LISTENING FOR DAYS, I DO NOT BELIEVE IT SHOULD HAVE ESCALATED TO IMPEACHMENT. THERE WERE OTHER AVENUES FOR THE DEMOCRATS TO TAKE AND THEY DID NOT. I FULLY BELIEVE THAT IT WAS BROUGHT TO IMPEACHMENT BECAUSE OF DISLIKE FOR THIS PRESIDENT, AND THAT, IN MY MIND, IS NOT AN IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE. 2) SECOND, I BELIEVE THIS SHOULD HAVE WAITED FOR OUR ELECTION AND LET THE VOTERS OF AMERICA CHOOSE FOR THEMSELVES. THIS WAS A WASTE OF OUR TAX DOLLARS AND A WASTE OF TIME SPENT BY THE HOUSE TO NOT BE DOING THE WORK THAT THEY WERE ELECTED TO DO FOR OUR COUNTRY. - do i believe all of the legal counsel arguments? NO, BUT I DO FEEL THAT THEY WERE DOING THEIR JOB IN HONORING OUR CONSTITUTION. I DO AGREE WITH THEIR ARGUMENT THAT THE HOUSE HAS NO RIGHT TO REMOVE ANYONE FROM A BALLOT. I DO AGREE THAT THERE IS NO JUST CAUSE TO INVOLVE MORE WITNESSES NOW AND PROLONG THIS FIASCO FOR MONTHS ON END - LET THE VOTERS DECIDE ON ELECTION DAY FOR THEMSELVES. THE VOTERS OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY WILL DO THEIR JOB AT THE POLLS. i do not consider myself political, highly educated, or bias of personalities. i consider myself just to be a concerned citizen and worrisome of the partisan atmosphere that has been in washington for far too long now. my father was an immigrant from italy, and as a little girl i recall how hard he worked to become a citizen of our great country. my family was taught to be thankful of what our country offers, and i remember with every election my dad and i sitting by the radio and listening to the results of the current election taking place. there were many discussions between the two of us, and most of all i will remember the camaraderie that was taking place in our little living room listening to the radio. in ending, i just felt the need to express how i was feeling listening to this trial. i know and understand this is only my opinions and others will have opinions of their own which i respect. i love my country and always will - but i ask that our politicians please be by-partisan in running our country - i know you all have the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA as your first priorities and our best interest at heart. thank you, louise rossi - U S CITIZEN AND VOTER OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY
