The story doesn't make sense, they don't really explain what kind of world they are in nor did they explain the power the witches has. And so, the plot itself is all over the place, the only thing I found good about this film was the background sound. The background sound is thrilling, yes. But halfway through, it gets old as the movie itself failed to keep the watcher entertained. And something that bothered me, often than not they use this 'black screen' as a way to switch the scene using a sound effect to back it up. Now, I'd say nothing is wrong with this but they overused it to the point it became plain. There are many pointless build ups and jump scares in this movie and they added unnecessary side characters just for them to show up for 2 minute laughing. I couldn't follow the storyline as it kept changing. There's no twist in this movie, but if you're 100% a jumpscare fan, I recommend watching.
