The end of the film was certainly the climax when Alfred gave his speech to MacHardie and his partners (as a new partner), revealing the hypocrisy of MacHardie's expectation for him to stay in a failed marriage for the sake of his career, reporting Creighton Duffy's underhanded dealings with Nassau Aviation for his "own private gain", in addition to reporting the failings of Nassau's E1FX jet that would seal the fate of his former friend, Lex Porter's attempt to get Machardie to underwrite Nassau stock and its company expansion for its E1FX jet to be sold to the Navy, and finally walking away from his unfaithful, and dysfunctional wife, Mary, thereby forfeiting his career with MacHardie and Company to live the remainder of his life with his beloved Natalie. Fantastic movie.
