Do not listen to the media, they seem to not be able to identify satire, perhaps because this movie hits too close to home for them with its satirical take on serious issues. There are clear parallels represented by hilarious and over the top comedy. DiCaprio and Lawrence make a phenomenal on screen duo and Meryl Streep delivers as always. Find an extra 2 hours and 25 minutes and use it to laugh and connect some dots, you absolutely will not regret it.
