I'm not sure ... it's too early to form an opinion. I just recently read all 3 books and loved them. I'm disappointed with some key things that are important elements in all 3 books that were drastically changed. If you loved the trilogy by Cronin it may be disappointing. It will be interested to see where it develops from here
