I saw the movie yesterday. It is a masterpiece and deserves all awards this year, especially the best film and best actor. I really appreciated Director’s eye for details and the nuisances he brought forward both in the story and the characters. Vidhu Vinod Chopra has a knack of moving people emotionally. I admired him for his direction in Parinda and 1942 love story. This story indeed moved me emotionally. When I feel overwhelmed with happiness, tears roll out. I never cry in sad situation. This movie had several such moments when tears rolled out. It deserves the national award for a quest to succeed despite adverse circumstances. The actor Vikrant Messey literally lived in Chambal to understand the culture even got his body tanned naturally due to Chambal rural area heat so no makeup needed. He richly deserves the best actors award.
