I feel it’s a bit too early for a full review so I may change my rating later. I wish Joel Edgerton had a bigger role because right now Ewan is having to carry the show on his shoulders. This show has terrible acting apart from Ewan and Joel. That kid Leia is the most annoying precocious character and is ruining the show for me a bit. The Reva character acts like a petulant child so that’s very annoying as well. I’m hoping they did this in order to show some drastic character development by the last episode. “OMG! I’m shocked! She used to be annoying and entitled but now she’s changed!”. We shall see. As for the writing, It seems like the writing is only a mild upgrade from book of boba fett. So all in all, I feel like poorly written dialogue and characters are ruining the show for me. But hey, at least there isn’t a lame Vespa gang and a super annoying Rhea Pearlman lookalike, amirite? Despite my criticisms, we are only two episodes in so there’s plenty of time for the show to improve.
