Joy Trocola-Koules

I did not enjoy this book. It was too "preachy", which got in the way of the story. Most of the characters were not developed so I was not pulled into the book. Although Abbey was the most fleshed out, I didn't like her. It was extremely slow paced without much action -- very boring.

Great book. Most of the characters were wonderfully written. I loved the connection between books and their effect on our personal lives. I also enjoyed the unique friendships explored,

The book was good, not great. It was not well suited to audio books, as it was difficult to keep track of the various points of view. Of the three main characters, only one was fully developed. This character was fascinating and carried the book. I wish there had been more depth to the other two.
