The writing and pacing are atrocious in this show. Your forehead will turn red from how often you’ll be facepalming at every characters’ decisions and dialogue. Two stars for having a decent cast, a handful of good fights, and a setting I would like to see more of on screen. Hopefully a different show can come along to do this era justice.

If you’re looking for constant action, you won’t find it with Andor. The show is slow-cooker with its conflict and action set pieces, taking time to get everything and everyone into place. When the action does arrive, it feels more purposeful and thrilling than many other Star Wars shows and films. Other highlights are the location and large-scale sets that are gorgeously shot. The landscapes used in episodes 4 and 5 in particular were impeccably captured. When Andor was first announced I, like many others, questioned why it was necessary. It’s proven it’s worth by offering up a great new flavor in the Star Wars universe that’s definitely worth checking out.

She-Hulk isn’t perfect, but definitely worth sticking around for. Although I didn’t much care for the first episode, every episode after was much more enjoyable. After I gave the show a second chance with the episode 2, I binged the remaining episodes available all in one night. My review would be 4 stars normally, but I’m giving it 5/5 to offset the review bombing campaign that’s clearly afflicted this perfectly fine show. Can’t wait to watch the finale next week.
