If you’re looking for constant action, you won’t find it with Andor. The show is slow-cooker with its conflict and action set pieces, taking time to get everything and everyone into place. When the action does arrive, it feels more purposeful and thrilling than many other Star Wars shows and films.
Other highlights are the location and large-scale sets that are gorgeously shot. The landscapes used in episodes 4 and 5 in particular were impeccably captured.
When Andor was first announced I, like many others, questioned why it was necessary. It’s proven it’s worth by offering up a great new flavor in the Star Wars universe that’s definitely worth checking out.
