I'm really impressed by the cinematography, it's well done in that regard. I went into this watching experience with an open mind, and I was genuinely rooting for it to succeed. However, the movie itself is so odd. I think she was trying to do what Michael Jackson did with Moonwalker, but it didn't pull together in a cohesive and genuine way. I think we all feel oversaturated by Jennifer Lopez content, and this project seems like another odd egocentric attempt at putting herself on a pedestal. 2024 is the year when fans have lifted the veils of illusion, PR manipulation, societal "status", and feigned glamour. Citizens of the world are going back to being grounded and less materialistic. People want truth, and genuine messaging from artists who care about others, not gimmicks and made up "true-ish" stories. Overall this film is out of touch with the current times and I'm not surprised that people no longer care to watch celebrities celebrate themselves for hours.
