Great story with great characters. Very rewatch able and always entertaining.

I wanted to like this. The original was great. This movie was too long or at least it felt that way. There was too much talking and the dialogue made me feel like I was watching a romcom at one point. The story was convoluted and I wound up not really being invested in the characters. I ended up spending the last half of this movie waiting for it to end and with the no-resolution ending I realized I really don’t want to sit through the next one. The animation was great and better than the first and it was nice to see the variety of spider-men; as a long time reader. I can’t recommend this movie unless you’re just interested in seeing it for purely visual or aesthetic purposes.

Entertaining like movies use to be. Not accurate but who cares. It’s a movie. The emotion is real, the actors fit, and the story is powerful.

A meaningful allegory for mortality and the fight we must all face, deny, or give into. The depths of meaning in this film are enormous. To appreciate this film you will need to look past the window dressing and realize this movie has nothing to do with wolves.

A classic. Not without flaws, but thoroughly entertaining and epic.

Pure entertainment with real heart. Classic Stallone. Too bad movies aren’t made like this anymore, instead they focus on politics and political correctness.

Very entertaining. Has heart and bravery. Reminiscent of what we use to value as a culture. No woke trash which is nice. Love it when the old veterans merge into the fray.

Wildly entertaining. People watching it for historical accuracy will be disappointed. It’s a romantic story from the perspective of the Spartans. Leonidas calls the Athenians boy lovers at one point, but a quick bit of research shows that Spartans endorsed and sanctioned sex between men and young boys. The truth of the story is not it’s plot but the themes of love, duty, and sacrifice. People taking offense who see themselves as Persian should think about the reality that Persia no longer exists. China is the only kingdom from antiquity that resembles its ancient roots. I don’t watch movies that pretend a 125 lb woman can kick a 6’5” guy’s butt. That’s fantasy for women. This is fantasy for men. If you don’t like masculine stories, avoid this one.

A powerful and impactful film, even if at times draining, delivers a powerful catharsis of emotions that will leave you depleted and renewed all at once.

My favorite series of all time. Just a little above Lonesome Dove.
