We went because it appeared on a “top 50 movies of the decade” list. On multiple occasions we felt compelled to walk out, and are hard-pressed to come up with any reason to recommend this movie to anyone, except perhaps Sandler fans who want to see him in a strong dramatic role. Bottom 50 of the Decade list would be easier to support.
