Anyone thinking they're about to watch a dark comedy is in for a big disappointment. This is not a comedy in the slightest, dark or otherwise. A thoroughly strange film which never really goes anywhere. I understand what it was trying to convey but think it failed miserably. The first half was watchable in a kind of "what the hell is this" way. The second half was just boring, boring boring, I found myself fast forwarding the final 40mins to avoid the interminable sections of nothing. The ending was a predictable will he/won't he scenario and, to be honest, by this point I could care less. Never was I so glad to reach the end of a film, this really was a waste of 2.5 hrs of my life.

Unfortunately This is nothing like the original story; the characters and storyline are barely recognisable. Some over the top acting (Gleeson in particular), feeble characterisations, bad script. Largely flat, one dimensional and, to be quite honest, BORING! Pushed myself to see it through to the end, kept hoping it would improve; sadly it did not. Extremely disappointed. Absolutely will NOT be watching any further episodes they may produce.
