West Side Story. Holds a special place in my heart as the movie that started my love of musical theater That being said The new version Is Visually stunning. True to the original. while finding the depth and realism of the characters the origional lacked making the story even more poignant and relevant The talent is amazing. The choreography was raw and beautiful. I want ALL the costumes The ending was a little rushed and "meh" But that being said I LOVED IT... possibly more than the original Go see it... IN THE THEATER

i personally, really liked this movie. i kept thinking about it after. there were a lot of small messages and artistic choices that were messages about race in america. I also thought Janelle was really good and i hope to see more of her in film
