Plot holes galore, an insufferable script and terrible casting - it should be evident to anyone who has eyes that’s not their missing son - let alone the mother. The protagonist Jodie is a completely unbelievable and unlikeable character, making nonsensical moves left, right and centre - shame because the actress is usually in decent British stuff. Also, there’s NO WAY someone gets a teaching job in a British school that easily and the way she’s carrying on was if she was grooming a student in plain sight.
Not all was lost though. As the plot continued to develop into more ludicrous avenues, it became quite amusing to watch. Maybe that was the intention?! So yeah… if you like watching turd movies - where the acting and narrative could have been written and casted by an 11 year old - like Sharks in Venice with Stephen Baldwin - this could be for you.
