Falafel

Haven't seen yet the film but by the looks of it from the trailer, I am never convinced that it's gonna take on the grand reputation Scooby-Doo series and movies to continually build up or even just remain as it is. It is let-down, not to say a mere disappointment. What reinforced this notion is that you can instantly recognize the non-existence connection between Velma and Daphne. As friends, this marks something beyond off. I am not against the actors being there, How I had just wished they chose others more befitting of the roles and could make the characters relationship genuine without showing they're faking it.

Before the movie came out today (at netflix btw), I have been looking forward to the seemingly diverted storyline. So with that, I kind of anticipated the new ways the characters' lives would intertwine so I wasn't disappointed at all of how it just further stood away from the og situation they got going in the main series of MLB. But the other bits near the end does not portray as much as what we would have wanted it because it felt like they are trying to squeeze as much as they could into let us say 20 mins screentime. It makes it hard for the scenes to be appreciated that way. Hoping for the next one to go at the opposite direction and enter our screens with a blow; one that isn't rushed :)
