Matthew Bond

Tldr, it was a fun movie, but not the best movie ever. This movie was a rollercoaster ride... Of good and ok? Hard to pin down exactly what they were going for. At times it was action packed and compelling, at others it felt like an homage to a campy Bond film. Then other scenes try to add a bit of sci fi, while throwing in a bit of romance that doesn't go anywhere, maybe? A lot of the characters felt one dimensional, except of course for the triple Will Smiths. Put it all together and you get a semi campy sorta Bond, Bourne, Sigourney Weaver, Expendables movie with a dash of Adam Sandler. Ultimately a strange combo, but it was a really fun watch! Unique for sure and definitely not the best movie ever but I enjoyed it.

Great movie in my opinion. Did a nice job developing a believable characters and a kick ass female action star. The story had some plot holes but all in all it was a fun watch with a plot twists and diverse action and fight scenes that don't feel mundane and scripted like in other movies. Give it a watch despite the critic ratings.
