We first watched " Paper Moon " fifty years ago when it was first shown in theathers across North America. Since that first showing I bet we've watched this wonderful human nature movies at least 25 times as we have had it on DVD now for quite a few years. We always watch it on New Years Eve. One of my favorite movies. You'll fall in love with it.

Lost Car Rescue is really one great show. Not only is it very interesting but also a whole lot of fun. It really makes one feel good to sit back and watch this wonderful show made right here in Canada. A real great bunch of guys and then you have Jessica which really tops it off. I am sure that by now every man that watches this show is in love with Jessica. Man what a lady and she flies too.

It was back in 1970's that my two kids, their Mom & I watched this every Friday evening. It was watched on Friday evenings. The evening when we did our shopping (back then there was no Sunday shopping here in Nova Scotia !!) and we always had to be home in time to watch Rich Man, Poor Man. Now if I am not mistaken after this series ended and was then replaced with/by " Dallas " and once again we had to hurray through our Friday evening shopping. That shopping by the way took place at the Greenwood Mall !

I am a Disney fan and a W.D.W. fan but am not a fan of this movie. For one thing it was just plain to much loud music, banging and crashing, etc which made it hard to understand what the actors were actually saying. And better still I felt we were taken for being rather dumb as for the motor in the boat which looked like either a diesel or gasoline engine but yet there was a boiler which made one think it was steam driven. So it was some what out of this world for me and I expect that it will be part of one of W.D.W. theme parks.

When I was in either grade 9, 10 or 11 way back in the 50s we students were so we say forced to read Quentin Durward as part of our English class outside reading. I hated every minute where I wasted my time reading this book. To this day and after reading hundreds and hundreds of wonderful books I still think of the horrible wasted time reading this book. We too were forced to read Shakesphere which I also hated. Thank God shortly after this R. D. Lawrence, James Herriot, Farley Mowatt and others come along with some of the greatest reading, shall we say on earth.

This is an easy MUST read book. One of my better reads and I have been reading for the past 75 years. The book is about a remarkable man and his wonderful remarkable family and kind friends.

I was born 1940 and been reading since 1945. Read a pile of books, most all true stores covering just about everything. By Chance Alone is one of my say top ten best reads. " Max you are a real true surviver and an angle amonst us " ( in spite of my years of reading I still can not spell worth a dam ! )

I first saw this movie ( great movie ) when it first come out in 1964. I'll keep this short but have to say it is one of the best movies I've ever watched, say one of my favorite top 10 ! I now have it on DVD disk and watch it at least once a year. " Bert Landcaster " at his best too !
