This was totally unexpected find. Season 1 was heartwarming with a nice flow and pace. Then season 2 exceeds any expectations I had. I laugh, I cried, I love every character in the series. Unlike most BL i love how they don’t lack casting female characters. Each person have their persona and dimension. No one is perfect, it’s okay to be a coward, it’s okay to be lonely, it’s okay to be scared, it’s okay to still learning how to love. Definitely gonna come back to rewatch.

The chemistry, the plot, Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. It's beyond words. Though I must say the novel is on another level.
