I love procedural crime shows and I never write reviews, but this was the worst thing I have seen in a long time. The “characters” make no sense and the “world” is as far from Blackpool as you can get. They even got computers wrong. Who rewinds digital video?! How does the zoom know what to zoom in on?! How does an SLR upload HD images to the cloud in 10 minutes using 4G?! Related point: how does someone immediately recognise a recent missing person from a grainy photo?! I have zero interest in how it ends. Stopped after 1 episode; and that was only possible by riffing it. Please raise standards, rather than box ticking. Do the hard work.
