Too many deviations from the original. Jafar was poorly cast, as well as the tall boorish sultan. Smith’s Genie was passable, but also failed to represent the spirit of the reference material. Worst of all was the notion that an eighteen year old female would be made Sultan of a predominantly Muslim country!
