Warning: Contains Animal Abuse NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN OR ANIMAL LOVERS
We made it to the scorpion part (my 3 year old and I) she ran off in tears. This is a documentary of animal abuse. It is NOT suitable for kids and is certainly NOT a nature series. The fact that you guys shot at the rat and sent it rolling away in a rusty tin can, and put in several stressful situations is disgusting. I could see the stress the animal was in. It was not at all enjoyable.
I have seen several professional nature documentaries that make the predatory scenes quick and still make the point without human interference. This was not about several tiny creatures, it was about one kangaroo rat somehow managing to escale all those near death moments. Like previously mentioned, I wonder how many kangaroo rats the crew went through to make this terror of a show.
It's sad that people make money off of things like this.
