A Thousand Splendid Suns is by far my favorite Khalad Hosseini book. I was hoping that this works would be made into a movie. I have read this book several times. I wish this author (a true favorite) would write more.
I liked the Kite Runner and "And the Mountains Echoed" but I still hold Splendid Suns as my all time favorite.

I like the family aspect and how the characters interact with each other. The drama shared with each other and their conclusions as to the outcome of each situation.
I usually have to wait and watch the episodes on Hulu, which I like because that way I can play catch-up on any that I may have missed.

I was born and raised in the little Swiss Hamlet named New Glarus. I went to high school there (17 graduating class). I am now 87 years old and living on Bainbridge Island, WA. I have yet to read the book because I will need to order it. Looking forward to the read and then will forward it to my son in Ohio.

It's part of my morning routine. The FCC changed the way our antenna TV reception is and we had to rescan to get our television channels. I got everything back but channel 7 (Kiro in Seattle) so I have to watch the show via computer but it's always a few days later. Very frustrating. See how much I like the show? Jumping through hoops to watch it.

I never miss an episode of Chicago Fire. I love the interactions of the characters and their loyalty and respect for each other at any given time that one of them as a personal problem. I live on an Island and if the power should go out (or I fall asleep) on Chicago Fire night I can always catch it on Hulu the next day. Nice to have options! Really though, I do miss Gabby!
