I've never been more disappointed by a show the way I was by this one. I've also never been one to write reviews on movies or tv shows so this should show you how let down I am by this season. I had really high expectations from The Haunting of Hill House and I'll just say that The Haunting of Bly Manor was... EXTREMELY anti-climatic. If I would have known that this was going to be a soppy love story with not even a full episode of some type of horror, I would have never wasted my time on it. This season was absolutely nothing compared to the first... However, I would like to say that I was extremely blown away by the cast this season... they did such an amazing job!! Not to mention the horribly annoying British dialogue by the "narrator"... I hated having to pay extra close attention to what the narrator was saying because I couldn't understand a word without having to process every single complex sentence. My boyfriend and I started this season in October to get into the "spooky season" but I never ended an episode wanting to watch more... I wish we would have just rewatched Hill House. It was a cute love story, so if that's what you're looking for, this is it! However, if you're looking for something similar to Hill House, this will leave you very disappointed. Not to mention this show was SO SLOW... I couldn't keep my eyes open after the first two episodes!!
