This game is great. The music and visuals were the first thing that stood out to me, and I loved how each zone and story-point had it's own music that didn't feel out of place.
The story so far (played on the switch) is really intriguing, and I can't wait to see how it ends with chapter three.
Love the wide variety of food abilities allowing you to find your perfect build. The weapons were interesting, though I feel that in combination with the food buffs, the general weapon it pushes you towards is a sword, which is great and all, but also pushed me away from using other weapon types most of the time (though if you get the light sword, a secondary weapon, you can use any weapon with the sword combos, which I liked.)
The enemies were good, though most felt the same, just staying close to you and attacking. I liked a lot of the bosses, especially the three skeleton bosses.
The only downside I have found is that it expects you to do a lot of platforming where, I feel, it's just not built for platforming. While I understand slippery surfaces in the snowy areas, I've noticed that most platforms are slippery after you jump, making it impossible to land on the smaller platforms. Once I got the wall climbing ability, I pretty much decided that the damage from wall spikes was worth it as it wasn't pure hell.
