I really enjoyed it. As a fan of the musical I was hesitant about this remake. But I thought they stuck with the musical very well and what they added enhanced the story. It is a musical so dialogue is limited as it originally was. But what dialogue they added enhanced the story didn’t distract from it. I’ve heard people say it was “creepy” I mean I guess if you are easily weirded out, have no imagination or appreciation for art then yes it’s creepy. I also saw someone say it was very sexual??? They must have been at a different movie than me. If you keep in mind these are actors acting like cats and not humans it all makes sense and is appropriate. Also to the specific person, get your mind out of the gutter. Casting choices were great, music was great, I really enjoyed this and would encourage others to go and enjoy it as well.
