Myself, to be non-partisan requires taking a few steps back. For perspective, dec. 3rd, 1968 I was first introduced and became a fan,,, This is entertainment, would’ve preferred more hidden gems from his enormous music catalog and especially since Priscilla was involved more insight on the man. The accuracy is on ! Time tables do vary, the information is accurate snd it is very entertaining I kept waiting for ‘a big splash’ or something to really,,, feel about him. The emotions of loss ( mother) or rages of anger were there but seemed to not capture those moments. The jumpsuits are the ONLY time I have ever seen displayed this accurate, concert scenes (though some was actual) I didn’t get the full perspective, excitement,,, the ‘what was it like’ ,,, I am biased because I know but to an average person with no prior knowledge this will be enjoyed with alot of Wows, I didn’t know that ! and hopefully better perspective other than the unfortunate portrayals embedded since August 16, 1977. It is a cool movie but more music and more of ‘the man’ is needed,,, maybe to better understand.
Overall it is a really really good movie that one can enjoy but I guess there will always be questions and ‘what if(s)’.
