I have been a Pokemon fan a while; I played Blue on my Gameboy Colour and got back into the series with the 3DS. I watched a few streamers play this last night. And, I would urge anyone interested in this game to watch videos of gameplay. Or, some of the videos addressing the technical problems. This game has serious performance issues that even some die hard fans will not be able to look past. I'm not talking about art style or bad textures. The game just performs poorly.

I played through this last night on Switch and I loved the experience. There are four vignettes to play through, all together amounts to 4-6 hours of gameplay. Every episode is puzzle-based using retro tech and employs an old-school type based gamestyle. I found the opening sequence and music gave me "Stranger Things" vibes. Really solid game if you like retro tech and gaming. If you were born between 1970 and 1990 this game will probably give you a lot of nostalgia. ***I've heard this game is basically impossible to finish on Switch Lite, so beware of that***
